Dreams are the gateway to insight in your life!

I dream ALOT. Almost every night. Some of the dreams I have had are just plain “crazy” and others are relatively funny. From the time I dreamt of a giant spider climbing in my cabin window, followed to a tiger that was chasing it, to dreaming that I was in the plants vs zombies game with my kids and fighting to kill the zombies! (Yes they looked the same as the game!)

Dreams can be silly and have no meaning, other dreams are visits from your loved ones who have crossed over, and others still, are ones from your guides trying to answer the questions you seek about the direction and insight you need in your life.

So how do you determine which is which? A dream journal is the perfect way to get started! By using a journal writing out everything you remember and using a dream journal to translate the stronger parts of your dream.

1. Amethyst

2. Dream quartz

3. Hemimorphite

4. Herkimer diamond

Place one or all under your pillow before you goto bed. You will find that your dreams are more intense and visual. Allowing you more insight into the direction that you need to go.

I once had a dream about a very large black spider. He was bigger than a small dog and I was freaked out! He was in my basement suite I had when I was in my early 20s, and he would run behind this arm chair. The arm chair was white, with these huge purple flowers on it. I would pick up a work shoe and chuck it at the spider and he in turn would run behind the arm chair just out of reach.

What do you make of this dream?

Ever had a dream that shook you to the core?

Do you ever wake up from a dream and think “what the heck?”

I dream almost every night. The things that go through my mind while sleeping, I am sure you would not believe half of the stuff that comes through!

In my dream last night, I was driving my van down a road, and literally a rock slide started in front of me. As I continued to try and out maneuver this rock slide, I quickly turned down a street only to see that start to be blocked off as well. I quickly floored it and turned around because I didn’t want to be trapped down that street. As I got further away to a safe area it showed me standing beside my Dad. As we talked, we realized that all over the world, parts of land had sunken into the ground. Collapsed a bit further into the earth. Like a sink hole, but not as deep! My dad commented that the water supply would be next. I was shocked, because where would the water all go? He referred to the water that was stored for drinking and that there was a hole now in the bottom. We watched the news, and sure enough as it continued with the media coverage they reported on all of the damage, and how low the water was getting. I looked at my Dad and said “its the end of the world as we know it… isn’t it”. Then I woke up.

Is this dream the prediction of the end of the world? No, I do not think so.  Sometimes our dreams are our guides showing us things that are happening in our waking life. Things that we need to pay more attention too in order to move forward. What does my dream say to me?  I love using dreammoods.com to help interpret my dreams. When something is prominent I know there is further meaning (Not like my plants vs zombie dream the one night!)

Here is what my dream means
Rock Slide
To see a rock slide in your dream suggests that you are experiencing a “rocky” period in your waking life. You are overwhelmed with pressure. You feel like the weight of life’s daily demands is crumbling down on you.

Driving
To dream that you are driving a vehicle signifies your life’s journey and your path in life. The dream is telling of how you are moving and navigating through life.

There is change that is happening in my life, I provide daycare before and after school, and one of the parents that has two children is possibly going to homeschool next year, another one of my daycare kids is done with daycare as she starts middle school next year and then my last two kids are my nephews. My sister lost her current contract (it ended) and will be looking closer to home for new work, which means that she could possibly pick up her own kids after school and also will not need care…

So the dilemma for me, is not knowing what comes next. I can’t read myself and I wonder if this is a sign that I move on to something else and let the daycare part of my life naturally phase out, or if I start with new kids.

What are your thoughts?
